“Age” refers to a character or actor’s age by decile.
Every character needs at least one supertag. Tag ages for both the character and the actor.
“Unknown” supertag refers to situations in which the age of a character is not specified.
“Age x” supertag refers to situations in which there is a discrepancy between the numerical age of a character and that character’s physical appearance or social role. For example, a character may have lived for a long time by human standards but still maintain a youthful appearance and social role, such as the elves in The Lord of the Rings. “Age x” is most likely to appear in science fiction and fantasy works, and is most likely (though not exclusively) applied to nonhuman characters.
